Water/air/smoke
tight pass-through device, Hydroflame,
for metallic pipes only, passing through
concrete floor, over metal deck, with
insulation. No additional caulk or
mineral wool required. Sealant is
required only for maintaining a vapor
barrier and is not necessary for piping
where a vapor barrier is not required.
Sealant is used in lieu of passing
the insulation completely through
the sleeve. The sealant is an insulation-compatible
vapor barrier sealant, as recommended
by the manufacturer of the insulation. |
